About me
I write about how I learn and approach data analysis on my blog. focusing on practical, decision-focused analytics.
I’m Anna, a junior Data and Business Analyst with a background in banking, education, and running
my own business.
Before moving into data analysis, I worked in roles that were very close to people and decisions - in retail banking, education, and as the owner of a small language and translation business. That experience shaped the way I think about data. For me, it’s never just numbers on a screen, but information that supports real processes, real teams, and real decisions.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in why things work the way they do - what sits behind results, patterns, and outcomes. That curiosity naturally led me into data analysis. I completed a structured Data Analysis Diploma and started building hands-on projects based on realistic datasets, with a strong focus on data quality, operational reporting, and business insight.
What I value most is the thinking behind the analysis. I enjoy understanding the problem first, asking
the right questions, and then explaining results clearly - especially to non-technical stakeholders.
My background in teaching and communication helps me translate complex information into practical insight.
This site is my space to document my projects, my learning process, and my development at the intersection of data and business.
If you’d like to discuss any of my work or explore how data can support better decision-making, feel free to get in touch.
